COLLEGES: Care at UC medical centers called into question

The University of California Employees Union, which represents staff workers at the state’s 10 campuses, has issued a report critical of the care at UC medical centers. The report claims the system regularly puts profits ahead of patient concerns.
The union is currently in contracct negotiations with the University of California.
