AFSCME Gets UCSF To Re-Hire Fired Contract Custodians As Employees With Raises

The University of California San Francisco Medical Center has agreed to re-hire 24 former minimum wage contract custodians and give them raises after a public outcry.
And instead of contract workers they will be UCSF employees.
Mostly Chinese immigrants, the workers were fired after speaking up for better working conditions.
